Reformer Inspired With Band

I enjoy creating this class and guiding Deary through this class. Pilates exercises taught on a reformer are translated onto the mat by adding resistance from the band. You will be doing supine footwork, abdominal series, Roll over, Kneeling Lunges, Scooter, Arms exercises, Mermaid and Breast stroke. The Roll-Over with a resistance band is very challenging. Press down hard on your arms, activate your triceps, and dig deep into the lower abdominal area to articulate over. The scooter is demanding: to keep your back in a round position, think of scooping deep into the muscles of your lower abdomen rather than just squeezing your buttocks. These are not your ordinary traditional mat movement.Let’s get started.
