Core Centric

Today we will deepen your core connection with longer pauses and more extensive exercises. You need a yoga block or a thick book, such as a dictionary for this class. You will work your whole core in 360 degrees in this class. Begin with an upright kneeling position, followed by a supine position, side, on all fours, and prone. One knee on and off the yoga block in all four-position exercises creates an interesting angle for your core activation. It stretches the pelvic floor and helps find a good balance. Let’s strengthen your core!

The cues given during the move where we tip forward in the kneeling position: “Zipping up…Upward energy at the front of the body; downward energy at the back of the body” was really helpful to me getting the most out of the move. I like using props. The move with the knee on the block was a very interesting sensation + work. Thank u!
