The deep neck flexors and scapular stabilisers are two of the most undertrained muscle groups in the body — and the most responsible for the tension, heaviness, and fatigue that accumulates across the upper body throughout the day. This session goes directly to the source. Deep neck flexor work is taught across multiple positions — supine, prone, and quadruped — building the strength and endurance that allows the head to be held without compensation. Scapular retraction and depression work teaches the shoulder blades to sit correctly against the ribcage, which relieves the upper trapezius of a job it was never designed to do. By the end, members will feel the width across their upper back that is the hallmark of genuine postural strength — not the effortful, braced version, but the quiet, structural kind.
This session is part of Walking On Air Series
This series wakes up the muscles that matter most — your deep neck flexors, scapular stabilizers, deep core, and pelvic floor — and builds the quiet endurance that changes how you carry yourself everywhere you go.
