Finding Your Anchor
This week is all about connecting to your breath as the foundation for every movement.

In Pilates, breath isn’t just breathing—it’s the rhythm that guides your body, calms your nervous system, and allows muscles to release and strengthen safely.

Most of us have spent years breathing shallowly into our chests, never fully expanding our ribcage. Your body has forgotten how to breathe deeply—and that affects everything from how you move to how you feel.

This week, you’re learning to breathe intentionally. It might seem simple. But this one skill will change everything about how your body responds to movement.

This Week’s Journal Prompts

Day 1: Your “Before” Snapshot

Go to your Success Kit PDF and complete your Day 1: “Your Before Snapshot” prompt. Take time to honestly connect with where your body is right now.

This isn’t about judgment—it’s about creating a baseline so you can celebrate how far you’ve come in six weeks.

Close your eyes and connect with your body today. Where do you feel stiffness, tension, or discomfort? What daily movements feel challenging? What is one word for how you want to feel in your body six weeks from now?

End of Week 1 Check-In

“What was one small victory you felt in your body this week?”

Even if it’s just “I showed up twice” or “I noticed my breath for the first time”—that counts. Write it down in your Success Kit.

Remember: Showing up is the hardest part—and you’re here. That’s what matters.

Welcome to Your First Six Weeks

Week 2: Your Foundation

You’re not alone in this journey.
How is your body feeling this week? What surprised you? What challenged you? Share your progress or your “small victory” in the comments below. Our community is here to support you—and hearing your story might be exactly what someone else needs to read today.

Love these breathing exercises. Very helpful and healing when you suffer from (chronic) hyperventilation and feeling too much stress during certain periods in your life.
