Movement Connected

Finding the deep core in stillness is one thing. Keeping it while you move is another.
Connected Movement is where that changes. The supporting core stays on through transitions, through reach, through return — not because you’re gripping harder, but because it’s learned to hold. Less effort than you expect. More support than you’ve felt before. This is where members first notice something shifting in how their back feels.

This session is part of Reaching Your Deep Core Intermediate Series

Reaching Your Deep Core is a six-session series that corrects it.
The supporting core doesn’t respond to gripping or bracing. It responds to breath, to subtle challenge, to the right kind of invitation. When you stop trying to engage it and start learning to listen for it, something shifts. The back that always tightened starts to hold. The effort that never quite worked gives way to support that simply is.

This was still gentle, but the longer sess and some tougher moves took this up in intensity. Putting the hands “on the floor” when we were did c-curve while sitting really cued my abs and spine well! The move where we lowered the legs together was really tough, but we had spent so much time connecting with the diaphragm that I felt really strong and my lower back did not try to help. The new modified Back Support with one leg straight was really great: it had surprise bonus work in the bent leg hamstring. Thank u!
